Introduction: The Japanese tackle brand Nories was established in 1993 by former Pro Bass Angler Norio Tanabe. Tanabe was the first Japanese angler to win a B.A.S.S. event (also in '93). My introduction to the brand was in 2006 during our SuperCast Shootout featuring four rods from four different JDM brands, Megabass, Evergreen International, Palms, and of course, Nories. I followed that up with additional Nories rod reviews in 2007 and 2008, but for some reason, it wasn't until recently that I'd taken an interest in their baits. Introducing a sneaky little finesse crawfish imitator, the Nories Rock Claw.
