Hi tackle gurus,
Recently I’ve been seeing good comments on Daiwa Tatula 300/400, but as a Shimano guy (just because I had bad luck with Daiwa reels, both spinning and baitcasting) I’m kinda skeptical to shoot myself on the foot buying another Daiwa and then finish to sell it after 1 fishing trip, as I did in the past. Anyhow, I searched into this forum to look for comments but I have to say all comments are sort of biased by user’s preferences, either towards Daiwa or Shimano. In this case, between Daiwa Tatula 300/400 and Shimano Tranx 300/400, what are really technical differences that you guys already experienced and found out on the field, if you owned or tried both? Esthetically I have to say that those Daiwa Tatula are really cool, better in my opinion than Tranx. Also somebody could tell if Tatula 300/400 has clicking spool tension knob?
Thanks guys,
PG
