Curado version of the Scorpion MGL but not as pretty.
I think the frame is actually different? 6.5 oz for this Curado versus 7.4ish for the Scorpion MGL.

But I agree on the color not being so cool.
Also a 32mm spool I see. Weird. I would think this would be the JDM one.

Re: Megabass Honeycomb Zonda Spool Equivalent for PX68

I use an Airy Red in mine for ned rigs and can almost spool it of 20# braid with a 1/10 oz head. With lighter heads and smaller diameter line the Ray's should work fine. You absolutely will spool it with a 1/10 oz head. Is it relatively controlled, or is thumb needed to keep fluff away? Where do yo...

Re: Steez A vs Zillion tw vs Morethan PE 1000 tws

The bronze gear 8.6:1 more than is supposed to be the smoothest thing out there. The 7:1 is aluminum and considered less smooth to equally smooth compared to the new Zillion with aluminum gears depending on who you talk to.

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Always thought that the top of the zillion1000 is metal, but after reading some comments in here, IT IS plastic/zion. It doesn't feel cold to the touch like the lower part of the frame and handle side plate. A bit disappointing because the reel weight being made out of aluminum was one of the two t...

Re: Zillion sv TW 1000

Did we ever confirm if the top of the frame is a a painted plastic cover like the Curado K 200? This might explain the easy scratching and dark coloration beneath. You got the point there. It feels the same as nose part(plastic) and flex a little at very front. That maybe explain why it is so light...

Re: Remember the Curado MGL complaints

The GLX isn't particularly striking or interesting looking. Just about any reel looks "good" on one. I guess the tiny bit of blue on the rod could be coordinated in some way but there is 99% chance that the if you buy a GLX then you probably dont care.

Much prefer the look of the Scorpion 70 and Engetsu. Looks better and matches the Zodias rods well.

Re: Daiwa Catalina TW 100 Spool

The Catalina TW spool holds a decent amount of 65# braid. Its roughly equal to the Tatula 150 in capacity. I can only really spool it with heavish compact baits like a 7/8 oz frog like this thing.

Re: Daiwa Catalina TW 100 Spool

The Zillion HD spool is deeper but fixed inductor. Its is excellent with heavy non braid. I have both spools in my Zillion HD. 65# braid on the Catalina TW spool and 20# big game on the stock spool. There really isn't a super deep spool for that platform. You may want to move up to a Tatula 300. Why...

They need tons of bearings to compensate for the sloppy tolerances. [-X
They just jam up to 8 per knob to bump up the count as a selling point.

Last I checked they were $140, $40 chinesium reels. Many such cases.
