Tuning glide baits.
Wondering if anyone has a tip to make the glide bait swim wider than stock? Thinking about getting a Gan Craft 230 jointed claw.

More moderate tapered rod, with thinner line will help the bait move more freely.Real Pudd legend wrote:Wondering if anyone has a tip to make the glide bait swim wider than stock? Thinking about getting a Gan Craft 230 jointed claw.

With the Gancrafts, you can shave the joint on the front part of the bait a little to make it a little wider. There are a few how to videos out there.
