You normally don't keep those fish. It's stricty Catch and Release.

We have a similar fish over called the Queensland Groper. Same family of fish. I`ve only ever caught a 100 pounder but have seen one over 2.5 metres long brought up to the back of a boat out of 40 metres of waterwith an estimated weight of over 500 lb. They don`t do high speed runs. But they don`t give up to the very end. The bigger they are the longer it takes to revive them.
