Just like to hear what anyone has heard or suspects to come out this coming year. I know a lot of anglers expected a new Metanium DC but it was absent. Even with the JDM Metanium 100 release, I feel that whole lineup might get a revamp. Just got a Curado 200 release, and i assume the 150MGL/70MGL will stick around a bit longer. Maybe a Chronarch?

The Stradic M just came out too, so I know a Ci4+ or the beloved Vanford name model will follow. I'm still waiting for the C2000SHG to release.

On the Daiwa side, it seems that the Certates are selling out, maybe prepping for a new model? The Zillion is still really new, might just see the HD version get released stateside. I would also assume a Tatula BFS will eventually show up to compete with other USDM BFS reels.

Anyone heard even the slightest whisper? Just fun to speculate and makes the waiting easier.

I want a new pixy. Been saying this for a long time, but this needs to happen. Alphas frame made out of magnsium, 30-31mm spool and colors, i want colors (no black, gray or silver, give me actual colors).

Compared to the new zillion frame, i find the steez tw extremely outdated, so this frame needs to change.

That's pretty much all i care about.

A true Zillion HD would be nice - something in between the current Zillion SV TW and the Tat 300 etc.

I've been seeing the Curado 70s on discounts here and there--I imagine there will be a new Curado M 70. The DC may get a refresh as well so it doesn't fall too far behind in the Curado refresh timeline.

I'm hoping a new Chronarch--but the Bantam fills that price gap role; so maybe it ends up being fazed out? I'd really like to see a new white Chronarch though. I still have 5 of my 100D7s that I will never let go.

I'm with SSS on getting a COLORED Pixy/Alphas styled reel. I'm tired of these dark monochromatic colors--give me some red, orange, and purple pleaseeeeeeee!!!

Glad it's not just me. Seems like ALL color been left behind by Daiwa and Shimano in their higher end products. Just variations of black and silver.

The Steez AII in terms of cosmetics was very disappointing. I thought we were in for a revamp once the LTD version of the Steez TW came out but nope.

I would love to see some fresh colors, I agree that gunmetal/black/silver has become a new standard. I agree with the previous comment too, would love to see a new Millionaire, but it seems round reels might be phasing out. I would be tempted to just get another Conquest 100HG.

Well so far there is another thread about a new Steez SV TW. Not sure what the improvements will be, Daiwa has some new marketing words for it.

Hoping this leads into a few more releases and news of upcoming ones. I am still waiting for the 2000 size Stradic FM to become available.

It will be the successor of the old basic Calcutta, not the new Calcutta Conquest.
The Calcutta Conquest will get an extension in the form of the CQ SE, 100 sizes with a new 33/19mm shallow spool.
