I want to put an SV spool in my yellow tatula type-R. Does anyone know if the 17 tatula sv tw spool will fit?

No. You best option is the Ray's Studio Long cast for the old Tatulas and Tatula 150.

The old tatulas are fixed spool shaft. Like Lowrange said, get a Rays DIY spool. If you like the older tatulas, they are worth grabbing a few.

You want this one. I have one in my old Type R. It bombs baits and is basically a distance tuned SV spool. Not as good at skipping as a normal SV spool but is OK.
