If you want to save a few bucks i really love the zodias 6'10" m even more than the 6'10" expride. The zodias has more tip and feels faster than the expride to me. Its a great all around rod that can handle jerkbaits mid and square bill cranks lighter spinnerbaits then can throw light wire hook jigs and paddle tail swimbaits

Not sure if it is available in the EU, but the OG Tatula 6101MXB is great rod for what you are looking for. If it's not, the NRX 852c is a great choice, and can also be used for light contact stuff too.

I had the 610M Zodias, but never threw jerkbaits on it. Definitely a standout in that line of rods, along with the 72M. I might have to pick one up again just to compare to 610M expride...I did not like the metal locknut on the Zodias, that I do remember.

The one piece. The 610m-2 is two piece correct? I had the 610mh-2 and it was fine but it bothered me that it broke down in the middle of the rod. I ordered it thinking it was a 2 piece at the handle like the 7'2" mh expride gen 1. I should have done my research before i pulled the trigger on that one

Hello, Friend!
Yes, 1610M-2 is 2 pieces, center cut rod.
Despite this, it is very durable. I catched some nice pikes for my places and it withstood the load.

The NRX 852 is an amazing rod and can handle both reaction and bottom contact. I use mine for Spybaits, finesse swims and Ned rigs. I also have used the conquest 843c MBR. It’s a solid all around rod but I think it is just a little too much for treble hook baits. I’m also looking at the poison adrena 1610M or the adrena 1611m. I think the 1611m might be a little much for treble hooks

You don't need to spend a lot to get an outstanding jerkbait rod. I use a daiwa tatula 701 MRB. In fact, I have 3! I've caught TONS of fish using the Shad Rap Deep Jerkbait and 100s. Why spend all that extra cash when this 90 dollar rod will crush it?

I also use it for shallow cranks (Teckel Drunker, Warts, ETC) and Spinnerbaits.
