I think sought after may be the better way to describe that list
Agreed, rare to me would be PXA Avail Pixy spool, 36mm BE (I only know of one), BE's, and a few specific RC-002 colorways....could also throw in the AOI spool, CP-301 and ABU RC416-RS.
I’ve seen some RC-002 and other numbers but I don’t know what they mean. Saw a yellow and black trimmed zpi but I don’t know what I’m buying. I had my hands smacked for blowing on the dice and taking a gamble. It appears that I should leave the gambling to Vegas and not the website that I can only partially translate.
But anyways how much are you selling your 36mm BE for?
Wouldn’t it fit in my OG zillion? If not what?
Gary has the only 36mm BE that I know off, it is priceless imo.
002 Shallow, 001 Deep version.
Yellow is highly sought after, they don't come up often, ya shoulda bought it! lol

It's light and has a softer spring, so it therefore casts lighter baits better. It's great for frogging because it has the capacity needed for heavy lines and the low weight needed to help launch weights at the bottom of the range for a H-XH rod.

Plus it's one of the few spool swaps available for the OG Zillion...
This is the way.

I dont think that anyone has mentioned the Carrozzeria Honeycomb Spool for Monoblock. Retailing at over 30k yen, it's the most expensive spool in it's class that I have found. I've yet to figure out why it's priced 12k yen over the other MB Honeycomb spools. It does wiegh in at 8 grams, which is lighter than the other Honeycombs. I guess I would call it more exclusive, than rare, as it is available.

That one looks shallower than the others, and at 8g it's 20% lighter than the Zonda one at least. Right? I'm not sure what that spool weighs, but it is awesome. The cast feel is so free and effortless. The rotor is so thin it kinda scares me, but it actually seems pretty sturdy. It's definitely a very well engineered and sculpted work of art. No way would I pay $300 for it, though, especially with the PG and M spools out there. I think they get away with it because the monoblocks are so expensive to begin with that the people buying them think, "Hell, what's another $300?" especially since the very fact that there is a "monoblock" spool out there with a limited run will gnaw at them until they pull the trigger. While I'm sure it's better than, say the IS honeycomb, there's no way it's that much better.
This is the way.

It would seem counter intuitive to have such a robust reel like a monoblock and than buy a honeycomb spool.
I kinda see it as a finesse spool but as of late I have been rethinking a lot of things so I call it by its nominclature more that what I think its for. This weeks lesson is economic growth, and for $300 a pop for a spool, I wouldn't really call it expensive when i consider i just brought a monoblock, like Poisonokie mentioned..
Always guys I didnt even know that spool was available.. I dont have a monoblock reel but they are gorgeous

Does anyone have this spool?
How does it perform?
is it worth $60..
is it rare being that it was limited.. ? its late I am going to sleep on this one.. I already blew on the dice on the other RC-002s MJR
but i think i should have been looking for the 001.. I dont know what the difference is between the 001 and the 002 but this spool seems pretty cool.

The 002 is shallower than the 001, think of then like older M and PG spools. They one is definitely worth $60.

Hmm i always thought the "S" prefix is what made it shallow, not the 002. I have seen both, the 002 and 001 in shallow and deep versions, all having the same line capacities. What i did notice, tho is that the 001 versions have SOME spools that weight about 13g, while the 002 weight 10g on average. I also remember reading in the ZPI spool papers describing the 001 for lures 3/8oz+ while the 002 were for 1/4oz+ or so. But i feel like its just some marketing bs. I have used them both extensively and they're both amazing, and you can use lures way below the suggested weight.
