Daiwa TDZ 100ML Value

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

If it's mechanically sound, I wouldnt go over $180, or $200 if the original box and accesories are included.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I have no way of telling how it is internally because I'm purchasing it online but he "says" he only used it 1 time and from the look of the pics it definitely appears it hasn't been used much at all. Its one of those people who don't give prices, so annoying.

If theres no price, then I would low-ball, say around $140. Maybe he will negotiate and you can still get it for a decent price.

Thats my Plan but just wanted to get an idea as to where to start, if you go to low some people get offended and stop dealing with you.

I ended up getting it for $100 shipped, I should have offered less  . Looking forward to it, I have never had a TDZ.

You stole that one! Just fyi, the reel has 5.8 gears. The Tackle Trap has the 7.1 gear set that will fit the LH mirror TDZ frames, yours included.

You done did good! The spool alone is hard to find these days, and might fetch an amount close to what you spent on the reel.

I already ordered the gear set, a Steez A 90mm handle, Zaion drag star and Carbontex drag washers.

While you're at it, pick up a Steez 103 or TD-Z Type R+ inductor and spring too ;) ;)

Is there any difference in Steez103 spools spring vs. standard spring?

But:
HLC = much stronger spring than in 103 spool
sv Spool = much weaker spring than in 103 spool
