Megabass Ito Shiner?

Post by Samuel_b » Sat Apr 13, 2019 7:43 pm

Anyone who uses it how does it compare to the 110? What situations and water temps is it best suited for. From the videos I’ve seen on it, it apparently has a much wider more aggressive wobble (which almost sounds LC pointeresque). One guy claimed it excelled for colder water than the 110, and one guy said he liked it after the water warmed up more and the fish got active...both of them were MB sponsored lol so I’m a little confused. Also does it swim slightly shallower than the 110?

Thanks, I hadn’t seen that! Still looking for information on what conditions it excels in, and if it’s worth buying, or should I just invest in more Vision 110 colors and iterations.

I like it because of the bigger profile more than anything. When I want to show them a big, easy meal, I'll fish it slow with really long pauses.

Shhhhh.... just keep buying the 110, nothing to see here

I fish the Ito Shiner quite a bit and agree, my presentation is typically slower than with a Vision 110. I've had some really good days with the Ito Shiner when the 110 wasn't as effective and vice versa. The IS seems to do best for me with either really lethargic fish or really active fish as strange as that seems... Either way, I really enjoy this bait.

Thanks guys kinda how I imagined it should be fished when I saw the larger profile and that it suspends rather than floats like the magnum 110. Confirmed I’m getting one lol

I just picked some up lately. I really like them. It's a nice change up to the 110.

Ito Shiner sits more horizontal when suspended vs the 110 that sits nose down. I fish Ito's over grass in the winter. Tune them to suspend perfectly with flouro line and long pauses. Also find that a short pull works better than a jerks in cold winter water 40 deg F. Sometimes a wobble or jiggle is all that is needed. Not jerky.
