Any idea where these rods are made and who makes them? I did not see that in the review information about the rod. I was also looking for made in... among the photos too.

Made in China, like almost everything else from Pure Fishing.ShimanoFan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:51 pmAny idea where these rods are made and who makes them?

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I think the reels are Korea and Sweden, last time I checked.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 10:18 pmMade in China, like almost everything else from Pure Fishing.ShimanoFan wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:51 pmAny idea where these rods are made and who makes them?

I was referring to the rods being made in China, since the review was for the rod and the question was specifically about the rod. I think you're right regarding the Revo reels, though. They have always been made by Doyo/Korea.

I appreciate the response and thought I'd add this quote I found online somewhere from 2017...hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2019 1:34 amI was referring to the rods being made in China, since the review was for the rod and the question was specifically about the rod. "Recently made a purchase via eBay for a used gen 3 Abu Garcia Revo S. Once received and opened, to my surprise this particular reel was manufactured in China. My other Revo S and SX were both made in Korea. As well as all of the other Revo S reels i've looked at in a retail store. Called Abu Garcia directly for confirmation but they weren't definitive by simply claiming many of their reels are made in China, Korea and sometimes Sweden. They are not able to authenticate unless the reel is sent in for service. Basically, they were not helpful."

Are they designed to make 2-pound fish feel like 5-pound fish?
