Some Conquest 843/Alde 51mg/chatterbait fun. Loving my 843 for throwing the Break Blades!

First topwater Red of the year for me. It was 72 degrees yesterday right before the front blew in with a vengeance.

Thanks Jeff! I had caught 15 Reds bouncing a Hackberry Hustler off the bottom and came around a bend in the bayou to 2 Reds crushing bait right up next to the salt grass. I watched them for about 5 minutes and thought what do I have to lose. Tied on a Skitterwalk and I caught 4 more nice Reds. It made for a very nice trip.
Great Red you posted too. Hope all is well in your world. Tight lines my Friend!

This catch was happened a few week backs. A nice 12” crappie on Roadrunner with baby shad. I just started learning how to fish for crappies and this was the first time I found a school of nice size.

Nice fish!
The Go Emotion rods are absolute sleepers. I have a bfs one that I use for Ned Rigs, when going after spotted bass.
Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.
