Korean OEM websites

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Korean OEM websites

Post by LowRange » Tue Oct 11, 2016 3:36 am

Look what I found

Doyo Korea: http://www.doyofishing.co.kr/main/index

Banax Korea: http://banax.co.kr/

Haibo China: http://www.haibofishingreel.com/index.php?lan=en

I was curios as to which reel brands are made by which Korean OEM. It looks like Lews, Abu low pros, BPS pro-q/JM and Pfluger are Doyo awith Quantum and Okuma being Banax. Ardents are now re=branded Haibos.

Anyone care tor track down Dawon's site?

This 'Quantum' KVD in it's natural Banax markings is entertaining.

I know this is an old thread, but if you still have not found the Dawon website, it's www.dwfishing.com. Hope that helps you.

I think the frame and side plates are proprietary to 13 but made by Banax with Banax parts.
