Re: NEW Megabass Sonic Side crank
The target date is by the end of May. If things go smooth then possible sooner. The initial assortment of colors is being finalized etc right now. They should hit the production cycle very soon.

I'm excited about this one too. Like a lot of guys, I would have loved to have a bunch of them in stock in February, but it will catch fish year round in my waters. We'll have them up for pre-order as soon as we can!
Hey Mark - be sure to save me a couple of those prototype Mat Shad

If they get done I bet I can spare 1 or 2. The rest I will hoard though until it becomes a production run color on them.....bronzefly wrote:I'm excited about this one too. Right now things look a bit ahead of schedule and the baits may start shipping the middle of May to retailers.

What’s different about these? They look similar to the S Crank

Looks alright, but I think megabass could put treble hooks on a dingleberry and this forum would get excited .

The SONICSIDE is a competition-ready flatside crankbait born of the exacting demands of our National Pro Staff. Built for a tight, high-pitch action to dominate cold water situations, the SONICSIDE displays unrivaled casting distance and stability during fast retrieves. The lip is shaped from tough, 1mm circuit board material reinforced with a molded support, making it an eerily responsive and durable option when targeting riprap and hard structure. Additionally, internal weights are fixed for a silent approach, and placed for optimal action, castability and stability at high speeds. This heavy-duty STW model is built to out-cast and out-work the competition, dominating key targets in tough waters with its natural, high-pitch approach.

Re: NEW Megabass Sonic Side crank
I actually haven't had much success with megabass crankbaits compared to other cranks I use. So this being a megabass product doesn't weigh into my interest. What does is its design, it looks like a great bait. Also- I'm a big fan of flat sided crankbaits and there's actually not too many on the market, relatively speaking. Even fewer that are silent. Given that my favorite plastic silent flat sided crank is discontinued, I'm pretty excited for this.
