Poison adrena 2018?

Post by antoniolopez944 » Tue Apr 03, 2018 7:18 pm

I haven't heard much talk about the new model coming out. I currently own the 66 medium and its my favorite spinning rod. Im looking for a heavy bait casting rod for 3/4 oz jigs and up. Anyone have any info on whats new with this model or will it come to the states.

I was hoping for several replies. I also am interested in this rod. Have one and would love to add another.

There's a new 610 medium plus in the line up. Hoping it slots right in between the old medium and medium heavy. Also hoping they make their way here. Regardless, it's a must have for me

Do you guys know whether there's an official webpage for these new models? I could only find some shop listings but hopefully there will be more models than shown on plat..

Plat seems to have the 2-piece models: http://www.plat.co.jp/shop/catalog/defa ... ut-2p.html

Interesting. They don't have a Medium Heavy in the lineup 8-[

Japan Lure Shop had the 18 172H in stock for a nano-second. Perhaps it a sign these are starting to trickle...

They have a 6'11 medium plus, which has the same ratings as the former medium heavy.

I ordered this rod off of eBay today and I was curious to see where the rod connects for the 2 piece construction. I've read somewhere saying that most of the past Adrenas over 7' usually connect at the front of the reel seat(which is where I hope it is) but I'm slightly concerned about power and durability if it does connect mid-blank like any other standard 2 piece rod. This is my first 2pc bass rod and my first Adrena so I'm slightly anxious to see how it handles fish on the water. Any replies would be helpful and appreciated! :D

Which model did you get? There are both handle joining 2 piece and mid blank split models in the 7ft range. You can go either way, depending on what you purchased.
