Crooked NRX handle buttom

Post by PBP » Sun Feb 04, 2018 5:31 pm

Noticed my nrx 843 has crooked bottom part of the handle, see the pictures. It is not loose or anything, but significantly slanted.
Is this something G Loomis can address as part of their warranty considering this is the high end rod?
Thank you.

Yes that would be something warranty would take care of. I can honestly say i have never seen anything like that on a new rod from them. Did you buy this rod new?

Thank you for the reply.
Yes, the rod was brand new purchesed from reputable US online store, have a proof of purchase. Paid some hefty Canadian import tax :D
To be honest, the whole blank has a slight curve as well and this handle bothers me the most.
Both my GLX and IMX are purfect compared to it...

We have a Loomis Canada warranty centre,I'd use them a couple times...I think, you better contact them before sending rod. It's friendly service people there,so I hope you'll be fine. :)

Since you are in Canmada, you should go through the Canadian warranty process.
