What do you store your hardbaits in?

Post by caoabunga » Sun Sep 03, 2017 2:07 pm

Hi All,

I recently got into the Megabass world :crying: and started my collection from cranks, 110's, dog-x's, popmax and pop-x. I'm thinking of getting the bass mafia bait coffins for all my terminal tackle but looking for opinions for storage for the hard baits. I was planning to go to bass mafia but i don't really like their jerkbait coffins. I was thinking maybe bass mafia deep crank coffins might be long enough for 110s if I put them to a slant but that could be wishful thinking.

Does anyone have a good storage system for their hardbaits?

Thanks!

Great, these tackle boxes look solid! I'm going to get my hands onto some of these.

Thanks!

I fish as a co-angler a lot. I switched over to these for all my hard and soft baits. I like the fact that it is thin. I've realized I waste a lot of space in my tackle bag with boxes that are thicker. Now I can store two/three extra boxes and increase my lure selection.

If you can afford it go for the Meiho Versus from Japan

https://www.google.com/search?q=vs+3080 ... jHNiRp6WM:

The best tackle boxes i have ever tried and they beat any plano or flambeau when it comes to convenience and having a box system.
But very expensive because i think there is no distribution in the US

Most boxes work for me, but the most important thing are hook bonnets. You can find very good deals on them from alibaba express.
Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.

Been using a couple of these Meiho "Duo" flip flop boxes here in Aus, great boxes but hard to fit some off profile lures and those with shallow bibs.

It really depends on the size of the lure you are storing. Mostly I use large deep Plano boxes but also use some boxes from the hardware store for smaller lures
