Fluorocarbon question

Post by ING » Sun Aug 27, 2017 3:24 am

I am fishing sometimes from the pier and when big striper or halibut rushing under the pier, line touch the concrete and brake. Therefore I've bought Seaguar Abrazx and only now discover that it is for FRESHWATER. Why I couldn't use it for saltwater?
Seaguar divided their products for fresh and saltwater. What the difference is?
Thanks

Dont think it will matter at all. Might just be a pound test thing

Thank you, John,
May be some lines change their parameters like strength or(and) abrasion resistance in the salt water more than in the fresh.
It also could be question of marketing. Like my friend answer on the question "What difference between whisky 7 and 15 years old?"
"I haven't idea: all of them from same barrel"

There really is no difference. Use it in both salt water and fresh with no problems
