I called and spoke with a rep- According to him I cannot replace the horrible round handles unless I get something aftermarket.
Anybody have an answer?

You would have to order a complete handle. Since you did not specify which model Stradic you have, it makes it hard to tell you what options you have. There are knob options available. I need more info and I can help you find the ones that will work. Not everyone on the phones has the knowledge I have.

Stradic 3000 fa, ci4+
Stradic 4000 fa, ci4+

Thanks for the help! Like the reels but unless I can change the knobs they must go.

I have changed all of mine out with the knobs from Curados, there are left and right hand knobs so you will have to pay attention to that when you order and you will need a knob cap also ( I used Red caps), I replaced the one bushing with a bearing when I made the switch as well. Shimano and Tackle trap usually have them in stock, they are a nice upgrade to a great reel.

Why dont you change them out to SLP I knobs like I've done. Septone rubber went crazy and i swapped them to either coloured I knobs or the Tatula type knobs which are made from a very durable rubber compound.

RD14295 is a knob that will work on both reels. It is the same knob we use on the Stella 4000FE. A similar knob is used on the Stradic 4000FJ. Others have used the PV knobs from our low profile reels.

Looks like I would need to replace 8 different parts to swap out the original handle?
I think it will be easier to just sell the reals and give the certate a chance :D

Only two parts: BNT 4220 and BNT 4120 you can add aftermarket parts if you want more bling.

Same thing I did to mine. It works great and feels just like my Baitcasters.

Does the 4120 replace the factory bushing?
The 4220 knobs fit well.

Yes 4120 is the bearing 4220 is the knob. It may also take a shim or two to adjust the play in the knob.
