Re: Best line for light lures
I have tried a lot of different lines and always come back to Gliss. The dyed versions perform alright but I have found nothing that compares performance wise to 8lb white Gliss for light lures. I fish a lot of trout and it's the only braid category line that I can comfortably pitch under two grams easily without digging issues. The downsides to Gliss is it's slightly less abrasion resistant and it doesn't last seasons like traditional braid, lasts a month or two depending how often you fish. Overall though it casts simply amazing and is pretty strong, I landed a 10.8lb bass on straight 8lb Gliss this year.

I love running YGK braid to a Toray Biwa Exthread leader or just straight flouro.
