What's Your Favorite Topwater Bait? ~~~~~~<:------<<
Mine is the River2Sea Whopper Plopper 190 in Rat Ta Tat, Yellow Head and I Know It Colors. I recommend is to get 40 lb braided line. You may want to replace the stock hooks with Owner ST36's.

Been throwing the Jackall Bonnie the last few months, and it's an awesome topwater. Super loud, great action, and hookups have been almost 100%. Everything about this lure is different than the other topwaters I've been using in the past. Body shape, the way it sits in the water, and the sound are all different, and the big fish seem to love it.

This is impossible to answer. The Megabass i-Loud Prop Darter is up there, but in a world of Shower Blows, Pompadours, Binksies, Whopper Ploppers, and about a thousand others, there simply can't be only one. Never fished a Buzzjet, but I'm sure they're awesome, too.
This is the way.

Everything evergreen is top notch. I agree, the One's Bug blows everything else out of the water.

Thanks guys I guess I have to add the evergreen popper to my cart next time now.
For me if I had to pick one it would be Megabass Giant Dog-X because of the versatility (works in both calm and mild chop conditions). When I'm in search mode I prefer the walking baits as you can cover a lot of water with them.
My top three would probably be Giant Dog-X, Pop Max and the Shower Blows. Fished the whopper plopper 90 last year and was able to catch a few on it but need more time with it.
By the way I currently have two Pop Max's, three Shower Blow's, and 17 of the Giant Dog X

Jesus! How can you pick a favorite topwater? Every one I throw is capable of eliciting a heart stopping strike. There are baits like the Pompadour and Whopper Plopper and the Buzz Jet that seem to piss bass off beyond all reason. And frogs in general are crazy exciting to to throw. I guess if I had to whittle it down, I'd have to have a popper and a walking bait. My favorite popper is probably the Rico. I just seem to always catch great fish on it. It's also responsible for the the single most exciting strike I've ever had: fishing in a little, spring fed backwater on the Ottawa River, I threw a Rico into a pocket in the pads. Ten feet to the right of the bait, the water exploded, and a three foot long pike launched itself into the air and swallowed my Rico. But I need a walking bait, too, and I guess my current favorite is the Diamanté or the Vixen. If I had to go down to just one, it would have to combine those two bait types, so maybe a Shower Blows or a big Gunfish... Screw it! This is too hard.

There are many Topwater lures on today's market such as Topwater Walking Lures, Topwater Popper Lures, Topwater Prop Baits, Topwater Prop Baits, And Topwater Frogs. To attempt to choose just one is virgule impossibility. Too many choices and personal preference do to the fishing seasons and geographical locations. Just select a few and go fishing...

I just ordered an Evergreen Justine (JT95, 3/8) and I think it's gonna slay. I always thought a Zara Puppy would, but I can't get mine to walk right.
This is the way.
