Boat shoes

Post by BRONZEBACK32 » Mon Mar 20, 2017 11:15 am

Been needing these for a while now.
90% of the time I fish by myself, so unloading and loading my boat onto its trailer makes me get my feet wet.

I just picked up some under armour Kilchis, they seem pretty awesome and fit excellent.
What do you guys use?

I wear Brooks Beast, and Ecco boots.
I like a lot of stability when I am on a rocking boat.
If I need to step into the water I change into some Crocs.
Get your kids hooked on fishing, and they'll never have any money for drugs or alcohol.

What kind of rig do you have that necessitates getting wet?

I wear either Columbia Drainmakers or Blacktip Drainmaker style shoes. Columbias if I'll be in the boat all day, since I don't like walking through the mud in them(expensive), the Blacktips if I'm in the kayak. West Marine had a sale on the Blacktips, and was able to get 2 pair for $20, regular price of $80. Both are very comfortable, drain and dry quickly.

Tracker 175 txw
When someone goes with me its not a problem, its only when I'm by myself, loading and unloading the boat on the trailer.
