Alphas 103 on a Majorcraft speedstyle ML. Reel has a custom paint in sort of an orange and black. The reel has HH studio dress up parts, 6:8.1 gears, upgraded drag and bearings and an orange SV 105 spool.

I'll post mine as soon as it arrives and I reassemble it, in a week or so. Some beautiful reels posted so far.

Picked this up in the classifieds. Thinking about dropping an SS SV spool into it and mounting it to a custom rod as a dedicated Close Quarters Combat skipping and pitching combo.

Beautiful and color coordinated.Fishing4Fun wrote:Alphas 103 on a Majorcraft speedstyle ML. Reel has a custom paint in sort of an orange and black. The reel has HH studio dress up parts, 6:8.1 gears, upgraded drag and bearings and an orange SV 105 spool.

Thanks LowRange . I have been bit by the color coordinators bug!
That is a gem you picked up as well. I think an SV spool would be a nice choice there. Custom rods are always a fun option. It would be neat if you could do something in the custom rod work to incorporate the camo pattern.

Already on it. I picked up a sheet of adhesive wrap in 'mini night urban camouflage' color that I plan on incorporating into the build.Fishing4Fun wrote:Thanks LowRange . I have been bit by the color coordinators bug!

The color coordinators bug is as bad as the bait monkey. I made the mistake of putting an IP68 on a Tatula rod once and it looked so good on the rod it never found its way back onto the seven eleven X4. I also paid like $500 something bucks for an Orochi XX EMTF just because it red and I had a red reel that needed a rod. When that bug bites, it bites hard.

That should look wicked when done! You will have to share the details when it is complete. I think everything I have matches in some capacity.
Re: LETS SEE YOUR CUSTOM PAINTED REELS
I plan on showing and telling out it when done. It'll be my 1st rod build so I have a lot learning to do before I begin. Before I became an enthusiast of tackle I didn't care about color coordinating but now I can't so much as mount a reel to a rod unless they look at least somewhat similar.Fishing4Fun wrote:That should look wicked when done!
