Those numbers are my guess also. I was holding off on the Steez SV TWS because of the 80mm handle that I don't want to replace. Why does Daiwa continue to use short handles in the U.S. market? It will be interesting to see if this reel is as durable as they claim. I want to see this reel after a season of Ish using it to flip mats. The Aluminum frame and longer handle are nice, but I don't really need a deeper spool.

Aluminum steez, deep spool, mag Z brakes, 90mm handle... I'm digging it. Hopefully comes in a 7:1 or 7:3 ratio rather than/in addition to the faster 7:9-8:1 we've seen lately.
Wonder if If it has brass gears?

Kind of interesting in that.. These seem like they'd be in direct competition with the zillions & sv103, no?
There's not much separating them other than an sv spool.

Wishing they had mag 3D brakes, that would really differentiate it.

Really doubt that Steez A would be any better than Zillion SV TW.
0.4Oz weight savings doesn't worth to pay extra couple hundreds.

It will likely only be 100 dollars more. Smaller form factor, and hopefully the sideplates are not Zaion.

will prob be in the 7.1/7.3 range for highest gear raito.. Vid shows the 6.3...
