Get ready for the overuse of the phrase "game changer".

Smooth, powerful, long casts, strong drag, extreme sensitivity, great action, unique, revolutionary, exclusive design, irresitible to fish, trigger bites, increase hook-ups, catch more fish... They get me every time...

Thought I read last year or before they allowed general public admission one day. Any chance that occurs this year?

I think with companies like Daiwa and Shimano going more "global", it has taken away a little from ICAST. Just look at this years top "new" offerings from both of them. The Steez SV TW and the Metanium MGL have already been out and available overseas for a while.

Couldn't agree more. Everything that I am interested in that was there I already have or has been out for a while now overseas...i.e...All the Jackall and MB 'new' lures.

Was hoping for a few new XX rods.

It's funny you guys say this. A buddy of mine asked me a few days ago if I was "ready" for ICAST, or something like that. My feeling was pretty much "meh". I went on to tell him that I kind of view ICAST now the same way I view the Bass Pro Shops Master Catalog. There was a time when the BPS Master was an EVENT in my life, like as soon as it was available I'd race home from school hoping to see that bad boy. Once I got it, it would consume my mind for weeks. Well I haven't even glanced at the outside cover of BPS catalog in YEARS, lol. Obviously the internet and being older and being a big bait only fisherman has everything to do with that but it's pretty much the same for me with ICAST now. ICAST was such a huge deal for so long. The only thing I really really wanted to see this year was the specs for the 13 Fishing MUSE Black Swimbait rods. Anything else, which wasn't much, I already knew about.

Couldn't agree more.

Speaking only for myself, TT has ruined me for the most part with the American market.

I think the Classic now brings as much or more to the table than ICAST in terms of fresh water rod/reel/lure releases ...

Yes and it's right after the JDM shows. So possibly the BASS stuff will come out sooner. Maybe ICAST will become more suited to Saltwater equipment
