Favorite ultra light topwater lures?
Curious as to what your favorite bfs/ultralight topwater lures are?Say up to 1/4 oz or so.
Re: Favorite ultra light topwater lures?
i caught a ton of stream smallies last year on the teeny and tiny torpedo.
based on my catches on the 3/8oz kvd splash poppers, im really looking forward to trying out the rapala ultra light poppers this year as well, while my spot has some big fish (my biggest there was 19") most are in the 13-14" range and alot smaller as well, so this small popper should provide some major fun!

Some excellent lures mentioned here. Not sure if some are top waters or not, but a good read anyway.

Baby Chug Bug
Often had success on this when they would not touch the regular sized Chug Bug.

Bass Pro Shops XPS Z-pop 2" 1/8oz http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-X ... uct/51823/ . Not sure how it compares to the Rebel Teeny Pop'R but it's not very large in diameter which makes it seem even smaller than the 2" listed length.

Fished these a few days ago. Really like the wake action on these tiny things.

I am really digging it. It's almost like a fly, and your line isn't supposed to touch the water upon retrieve.
