Looks nice. Thank God they got rid of the ACS seats.
@spookybaits, my sentiments exactly

AND torzite guides!
Re: St Croix at icast?
I was excited to see the PTS as well. I built a custom rod with a PTS seat. In my opinion it's the nicest most comfortable reel seat I've ever used. I wish they'd put them on every casting rod.spookybaits wrote:Sweet baby Jesus- that's a legend elite with a PTS reel seat isn't it? And they kept that pretty green blank.cndbasshunter wrote:

Re: St Croix at icast?
man, what body part do i have to sell to get this rod?
Re: St Croix at icast?
Love the full cork, but they should have ditched the foregrip. I'm in the market for a 7'5" mh stick and want an appropriately long handle to match. The LE 6'8" m has a 15" handle while the 7'5" nrx has a 14 3/4" handle. I realize the nrx is a lighter blank, but loomis should have kept the mbr handle lengths.

Are you looking at last years LE specs or these new ones?KP Duty wrote:Love the full cork, but they should have ditched the foregrip. There could be changes on these new ones...

No doubt, this one ticks all the boxes for me.Chode wrote:man, what body part do i have to sell to get this rod?
Fingers crossed they didn't jack the prices up too much.
Wonder what size guides they're using- standard, semi-micro, micro, etc.
Re: St Croix at icast?
a user on a different forum told me he was told these are going to be in the NRX price range ( 475-550 ) but I'd expect that.
ONE TIME...please make the 7'4HF available in this series /w a full grip.

Last years. Your right though....my luck will be that they shortened it.spookybaits wrote:Are you looking at last years LE specs or these new ones?KP Duty wrote:Love the full cork, but they should have ditched the foregrip. Re: St Croix at icast?
If they don't add any longer models which I doubt they will I'll have to add a 7' H since I have a 7' MH unless I replace it but that not likely because it's a great jig rod

I have an 8 ft mh and an 8ft h avid inshore and I love the action and sensitivity of themspookybaits wrote:Have you fished with the current avid inshore rods?Congoman775 wrote:Hopefully a new Tidemaster/Avid Inshore...
Those rods are absolutely beautiful in person, pictures don't do them justice. That blank color just does it for me.
I've been contemplating getting one for years due to them being so sexy.
I just wonder about how sensitive they really are.
