Hmm...it says better components...maybe they threw sic's on it to compete with the zillion. The handle will make or break it though. If it has a full cork handle like the new omen I'd be a player, but that won't be the case.

The problem with the last one was they were supposed to be super light with carbon thread wraps on the guides and it ended up being too heavy.

I'm definitely digging the looks of that mgx spinning reel, pretty sharp....hell, I liked the original villain rods pretty well too. Nice for a mid grade set up, when you don't want to risk destroying high end gear ( river yak trips and such).... Been buying em for about 85 to 90 bucks a piece here lately, great rod at that price point...
