I haven't read the entire thread. What's the line capacity on the Aldebaran?

Love the pictures of this Aldebaran! Can't wait for these to come out from Shimano. JapanTackle tells me the end of this month is when they are expecting them to pop into stock and be shipped out.
Does anybody know what this is made out of? I got bits and pieces of info. Wonder if the drive gear is aluminum like the Core 50's

gears i would expect to be aluminum due to the weight.

That's pretty sweet guys. I read aluminum with CI4 so good to know we still have a magnesium frame. The X-Ship will go a long way. The Core 50's felt smooth under heavy load but I think this Aldebaran will be buttery smooth like the Conquest under load. At least thats the X-Ship trent, smoother operation. Already sold off my Core 100Mg7 and replaced it with the Exsence DC. Much more connected and smooth, should cast frogs well...I'd like to get a 2nd to punch/flip with but I feel I'll be wasting the DC part of the reel.cndbasshunter wrote:magnesium frame and ci4+ side plate.MTBF wrote:Love the pictures of this Aldebaran! Going to pitch plastics with tungsten with the Aldebaran...3/8oz-3/4oz should be a fun reel to do it with.....I feel bad for my Core 50Mg7's. Going to do my best to hang onto all of them but the future tells me lot's of reel changes this year.

The Aldebaran is very very comfortable, even more so than my Steez/Pixy. You guys don;t have to worry, it's very solid and smooth. 4.7oz this reel is just insane.
