You got it. Sometimes the brighter the better.toddmc wrote: Fortunately, I would guess that you musky and lake trout guys out there have more use for the brighter colored swimbaits.
Megabass I-Slide
Re: Megabass I-Slide
Wow. This post was like opening the blinds after sleeping in this morning because those baits are so bright. Very nice!

Re: Megabass I-Slide
seems like they designed the new i-135 perfect for smallies too....
Re: Megabass I-Slide
I recently got the I-Slide 135 in the GLX Akame color. I can't wait to try it out.
Re: Megabass I-Slide
I just bought this colour too. My first 135. I am trying to blood it with a seabass.cndbasshunter wrote:haven't used them but they look amazing.....LOL. Picked up a i-slide 135 too
Re: Megabass I-Slide
They look wayyy nicer in person, which is quite something. I have to buy one from their premium store soon.
Re: Megabass I-Slide
They are big. What fish do you target and what rod and reel combo do u fish these?Farnorth wrote:New 262T's have arrived. Sadly 5 months till open water here to try them out.
Very Apple'esque packaging.
Purchased two of the limited colors as they seem good for my fishing here.
They came with packaging for in your tackle storage.
Size compared to original I-Slide and a Deps 250.
Cabin Fever...
Re: Megabass I-Slide
For me these are for spring lake trout as long as they stay shallow enough and pike all summer. Will be using a Destroyer TS78X and a conquest 401.
Re: Megabass I-Slide
Thanks. Sounds reasonable for these beautiful BIG baits. A very powerful combo.Farnorth wrote:For me these are for spring lake trout as long as they stay shallow enough and pike all summer. Will be using a Destroyer TS78X and a conquest 401.
Re: Megabass I-Slide
Wow! It looks like Megabass went all out with the 262's packaging/presentation.
I haven't thrown the bigger swimbaits in the past. I've got one 135, but I'm going to add a few more as well as a few 185s. If the 185 works well for bigger fish, I may have to give the 262 a try.

Re: Megabass I-Slide
How far could you cast your I-slide 135B?
I could only cast about 20~25m. Not far for a 1oz bait as it feels lighter or not aerodynamic.
I am using #3 (40lb) braid and I find it difficult to do the 360 turn as well. It doesn't really matter as it swims well anyway but it is fun to do that 360 turn. Maybe I should try mono later? I saw the Megabass guy on youtube using 14lb fluoro which looks a bit too thin?
