Megabass I-Slide

Post by Farnorth » Tue May 06, 2014 9:25 am

These are available now at Samurai Tackle if anyone else was looking to try one out. Have a couple on the way. Will do a bit of a review after I get some time on the water.

Just ordered one in Rainbow along with a Megabass Mag Draft from another Japanese retailer. Can't wait to try and see if I can get the I-Slide to turn 360

Probably be my first glide bait, that 360 is sick.

I got the Chart Amago and Silver Salmon colors which look amazing. Bait comes with nice hooks but the spring rings seem a little weak - upgraded mine.. Superb.

Both weighed 64 grams which is 6 more than announced.

I should be getting my three some time this week. Grabbed a hasu, rainbow, and amago. Pretty stoked to use them.

Baits came in. Smaller and lighter than expected. One of my baits finishes scratched by looking at it. Disappointed in that aspect, but hope to catch some fish on it this weekend.

Anybody try there's out yet? I was able to try mine yesterday and was able to get it to do one full 360. Nearly every other time it would just do a barrel roll or a 90-180 turn.

Thoughts/ tips?

I suggest you nylon for this kind of baits

As of right now I'm using a flourocarbon and it's a little on the lighter side as I don't have dedicated setup just yet.
