They need to make the spool out titanium, now that would be something.

Is this just for the Steez/IS platforms, or will there be one made for the Zonda/Alphas too?
The current finesse spool is lacking in the depth department, and this spool seems to be a nice compromise between being shallow and having enough line capacity.

At that price and considering that Megabass is calling it a finesse spool, I now am torn again. I know, I know, I think I posted like 5 times on different finesse spools lately. But The slightly deeper spool at only a gram more. Same price basically at least according to Yen v dollar conversion. Damn you Megabass and your fine fishing equipment.

I would go with that new spool in a heartbeat vs. the IS, unless you have it really dialed in to a specific rig/presentation.

Or just dust off a Core, 50e, or chronarch/ core 100 platform you might have and get performance very close to the IS spool, with line capacity close to this one (while also being lighter), general usability the IS can't match...at a cheaper price. Probably the same deal with Avail spools, I just don't have direct experience with them.

Whoops.

Meant with a Yumeya spool in them.
