looks like black & white is gonna be big this year

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

looking at the plethora of new reels, white (with black trim) seems to be in vogue this year. love it. i'm so glad that gold bling on reels is finally getting the boot since most rods got rid of their gold trim a few years ago. but, apparently, pinnacle didn't get the memo on that :lol:

Agreed, though i do think that Pinnacle's use of gold looks better than the Revo Premier. I wont be buying either any time soon, but gold has always looked cheap and cheesy rather than fancy or sophisticated like they were aiming for.

Hmmm....I suppose Jako is rolling in his grave right now. Jungle Fever is the color scheme for 2011-2012 I suppose. :P

Pixzillas were conceived here, named here and the first one ever was shown here in the Show and Tell Forum. Six years later, I am still struggling to find a better UL BC Daiwa. Ya think we had some influence?

Hahahaha...thanks africanbass, you hit the nail on the head with my thought pattern on this one!!!

Great pic of the storm trooper doing a moonwalk...and yes, TT members and their custom painted reels and modded reels, have lead the way for a lot of manufacturer's current reel color schemes and designs IMO.

Wish we could find the white Sword Custom Rod and White custom reel pic (I believe a white reel was pictured as well?)...that was absolutely incredible. IMO, even better than the Gancraft Killers!

Wow...that is as excellent and impressive now as the first time I saw it! Thank you for finding pics of this epic design!!

I don't have this custom TDZ 103P anymore, but it would have been GRAND on this sword rod!!!

Nurgle certainly has an eye for assembling an elegant rod. His other creations are no less impressive IMO.
