What Color Little John
What Color Little John
I fish a slightly brown colored lake in Missouri. I am usually in 10 to 12 feet of water throwing at the bank. The structure consists mainly of Docks. I have read alot about the "Little Johns", but at the price they are I want to try one first before I buy any more. What is your go to color, or what should I use for the conditions I am fishing in.
Thank you
Thank you

I'd go with a shad type color. Old Glory is nice. So is Spooky Shad.
Re: What Color Little John
I like the citrus shad and the blood craw.

Citrus shad has worked wonders for me in the dingy lakes we have in NE Ohio.

Have one in Nasty Shad color. Has not produced for me yet but have not really given it a fair chance since I really have not fished with it that much. Use it in a deep clear lake.

+3 on Rootbeer Chartreuse.

Ended up getting the Citrus Shad. Wow, paired with the DC 704 glass, the fish never stood a chance. Thank you.
