This thread was the smartest thing I ever did..I not only found the rod of my dreams (and have the pictures to show someone)..but also the name of the guy who made it.

I'm guessing if Cal is using the Steez SVF rod instead of the GLX for plastic....the Steez must be really sensitive.

USA. If your thinking of having one built by Matt I would not hesitate to do so. I don't own one of his rods, but I've seen alot of posts and pics here about his work and have never seen a negative. His rods are absolutely beautiful.

steez...but only 'cause i already gots the 783

mind you, have never used the steez...may/may not change my mind if i did.

but the 783 has been a mainstay, at least for me, for so long...it's kinda like the left jab...the fullback up the middle...everything else just seems to work off it.

Late post...but yes, I meant the recoils on the BCR series...I am just not sold on those.
