Envy?

Post by Fishing4Fun » Tue Oct 20, 2015 3:12 am

Forgive me if this has been discussed already somewhere, but are there any plans to re-do the Envy line of rods like the Omen? Considering getting one over the winter but if a new rod will be released within the next 3-6 months I would rather wait.

Thanks for your reply!

Envy with the new reel seat like the Omens would be awesome!

Thank you for the post. A NEW Envy rod is certainly a possibility, we are always working on the next generation of successful product lines. We don't have an exact timeline on when the Envy Black or Envy Green Rods will be redesigned, but I think its a safe bet to look to ICAST 2016(July) and ICAST 2017(July) as possibilities for new designs to be showcased. Most ICAST products are actually shipped to stores in the late fall or early spring following the show.

I can't honestly tell you if full cork will be on the next generation or not.... Our Product Development Manager for Rods(Ricky Teschendorf) is hard at work, and he and his team will make this decision.

Thanks for your reply to my question Matt. I will pick up one over the winter to try since the release date or potential release date is a ways away.

Can we get the envy crankrod with recoil guides. I love the recoil guides no matter what people think. The sound of brand running through the guides when you punch and swing for the fence. I crank with loomis crankrod with the recoil guides. Ever since they switch guide I pretty much wen to 13 fish. if my crankrod ever break I would like to replace it with an envy rod with recoil guides. You think you guys can make that next. Just a thought

At this time we have no plans to add the recoil guides to the Crankbait Rods....but we appreciate the feedback!
