Inception reel trick shop compatible?

So can you trick these reels out also? If so are all the parts (such as KP spool) compatible or only the appearance parts?

So the response I got from 13 is that some parts from the trick shop are compatible but it was not elaborated on which parts are and are not. Based on the limited info I doubt that the spools are interchangeable.

Ok so 13 has confirmed that the drag stars and spools will not work with the Inception reel.

Inception will have many Trick Shop options. Current Trick Shop components will fit with the exception of Spools and Star drags.

I would expect that we will see some inception spools and Stars added to the program as soon as Inception invades the market in 2016.

Hi Guys,

Currently a shallow spool for the Inception is not in development. The Inception won't start shipping to dealers until Late December/Early January....so its a bit early for a additional accessories. It appears that this reel will be extremely popular so I would not rule a shallow spool option in the future after we have sold enough product into the market to support producing optional spools.

Inception Field testing has gone extremely well. Our professional anglers are raving about the cast-ability and performance of this reel at such a affordable price.
