Any 13 fishing rods recommended for frogs?

I'm looking to get a new frog rod. I'm curious if there is a rod you make that would work well. I've been using a veritas 7 ft heavy that works really well. I saw a member using a 7'2" Omen Green MH. Is that something that would be a good recommendation? Thanks.

I'm using the 7'6" MH Omen OBC76MH. Seems to get the job done fine. Has a nice tip and plenty of back bone. @ around $100 it's worth a look. Also good for bottom contact fishing in heavy cover. The rod is a beast.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look at the Omen Black. I've already got a couple of different models of them, so I enjoy them. It kind of looked like that frog specific rod might not be out for a while. I was hoping to pick something up in the next few months.

I was just looking at Monster Fishing Tackle's website and they show 2 frog rods under then Envy line. 1 is a 7'2" rod and they other is a 7'4" rod. They are found on the model version drop down box for selecting the model at the very bottom.

The Envy Frog models have been put on hold...as we continue product development. No timetable on when they will be finished at the moment. Currently we have a few rods that have been performing great with Frogs. Try the OBC76MH or the EBC76MH or H

I've been using it for the past 2 seasons now for frogging and I'd highly recommend the 7'2 MH Omen Green rod. I've cycled through a ton of frog rods over the past 5 years, this one is exactly what I had been looking for. I'm partial to an MH vs. and H for frogging because I feel I can work the frog a bit better and don't pull it away as much as I was with an H. It's more than heavy enough to pull them out of anything I can hook them in... I love the slightly larger eyelets on the Green series too. I've had less issues with 'slop' clogging up the eyelets when I'm in matted vegetation / slime.
