Tatula R Question

Post by BlaineFred » Tue Dec 02, 2014 9:48 pm

I bought a used Tatula R, right handed, with a shallow JDM spool.

I would like to use the spool in a lefty reel...

Will it work properly in the lefty reel?

Without any changes?

Thanks,

Fred

It should work just fine. Nothing side specific about the spools.

If the spool has line on it, it will be coming off the bottom of the spool instead of the top if you turn it 180 degrees. Just have to unspool it and crank the line back on the other way.

Thanks for the info...

But what is the screen name of the official Daiwa rep?

Hi,

The spool will work, but if it has line on it the line will be comig off the bottom. You would have to let the line out then wind it back on the spool. I do apologize for the late reply.
