. Just Ordered a couple of these worm gear since they are .85 a piece. I need to know if Daiwa done some improvement to the gear itself, i recently replaced the clucth housing & clucth bar and notice that they beefed up the molding where it was prone to fail.daiwa pluton worm gear & parts

lost a quailty fish today due to a unforseen failure with the plastic worm gear . Just Ordered a couple of these worm gear since they are .85 a piece. I do apologize for the late response and the issue that occured. The worm gear is made from the same material. There were no changes made to that gear.
