Spinning reel information

Post by angry john » Sun Jun 15, 2014 1:11 pm

I was looking at GPS on anglers resource http://anglersresource.net/Portals/angl ... dated.html and the only daiwa spinning reel in the inventory is a 2000 tierra. Does it have the same spool shaft angle as the advantage? It would be boss to find this information as it is important to be accurate. I am building a rod for the first time and do not want to get this part wrong throwing off the entire process. Thanks

Give the 27X method a shot (also using GPS). More user friendly with less chance of error with equally impressive results.

I just played with that and it is very close. I might just use that and call it a day. Are the numbers the same if done correctly?

I don't know if they're the same as I doubt I've ever measured acurately enough. When I try, they seem very close too…if anything, the 27X method has the stripper guide slightly further from the reel…but not by much.
