Stuck steez 8ft flipping rod ?

What is the best way to separate this beast ? I have two of them an the guides do not line up with the reel seat anymore.
I can't seem to break the 2pcs a part so I can line them up again. Any help from the experts at Daiwa ?

HI,

I do apologize for the late response. It can be difficutl once the sections are stuck together. I know our service department tries to rotate the sections. If you can rotate the section 90 degrees, it will break the seal and then you can pull them apart. If you can not rotate the sections, what you need to do is send the rod into our service department.
