Bantam stated this already, and Daiwa is just reaffirmed that most US anglers, even the non wal mart bass anglers that use baitcasters, want huge line capacity and use heavy line even though they theoretically don't need it.

The handle should fit.
Also for those wanting a spool upgrade, Daiwa Japan is releasing a SV Tatula.

How does Shallow vs Deep spool have anything to do with whether it will fit?...unless the height of the Frame does not allow for it. The width of the spools is the same.

My Steez 103 spool fits my SteezEX 100 reel.

I was wrong there is not a SV model but a HLC model.
