For those new to the game, baitfinesse is a term used to describe fishing finesse techniques like the drop shot on casting gear instead of spinning. Up until recently, this has been an approach reserved for those with enthusiast tackle budgets, but with the introduction of more affordable reels like the Scorpion BFS and Daiwa's ever expanding lineup of reels with the SV spool, this technique is really gaining traction. I have one of these rods and love it! I always lean toward a lighter action rod anyway. Until this one, my favorite was a Kistler Carbon Steel 6'6" inshore casting rod. These two rods have a very similar action.
