Versus Goliath - Targeting Goliath Grouper in Florida

Introduction: Goliath Groupers look like gigantic bass and are some of the most voracious predators that cruise the wrecks and reefs in South Florida. Thanks Mark, really impressive pull on the end of the line. Never knew fighting a Goliath could be so fun... and exhausting, all at the same time.

I bet! A 15 lb catfish kicked my butt, and I only fought it for five minutes, tops.
Do people actually dive around those monsters?

Yup, they rarely mess with people but they are known to steal fish off lines or even speared fish. Sometimes anglers get in the way, hahah.
