The “Curado” Series extends to Bass Rods

Introduction: Curado fans are getting treated to a double dose this year. In addition to redesigning their mainstream baitcasters Shimano decided it was time to introduce rods specifically designed to pair with their new reels. Taking the guesswork out of what reel might pair well with the Curado the company introduced 16 casting and 5 spinning models to cover the entire range of bass fishing applications at today’s ICAST event.

Meh, these rods look way too plain, boring. The IMX-Pro looks like a better fit for the new Curado's.

Agreed, but maybe the sensitivity will outperform its dull looks

Right. I think they look alright, albeit a bit understated. And they have full grips which is nice. They're also less than half the price of the imx-pro.

For some reason, these rods just look "right" to me. Pretty much as classic as it comes with modern components.

Ideal setup for value rods IMO.

Has anyone fished them yet? How do they compare with 13 Omen's or Daiwa Tatulas?
