Rapping in the Shadows with Rapala

Image

Introduction: There are few baits that excite our editorial staff more than the debut of a new rip bait. This technique is one of our favorite methods of catching those green, brown, and striped fish we pursue each year. Early in 2015, Rapala debuted their new take on this classic bait with the Shadow Rap and now finally, here is our take on this promising little new bait from Rapala.

I have had mixed results with it, but it is still one of my favorite baits to fish because it is just fun to work back. You feel like you are going to catch a fish every cast, even if you don't.

Review states materials being used are plastic and wood. Are there specific colors that are wood? The ones I have are all plastic :-k

It's all plastic. Just failed to delete "wood" in the matrix. It says "plastic or wood" as a reminder to each editor to identify the lure material for the spec table. We'll get it corrected. Thanks for the catch. 8-)

I was hoping you would do a review of these, I was thinking it was overhyped until I got it out on the water. It has been my best producing jerkbait since last spring.
