Zodias or E6X for 200 dollars?
Are you more interested in the Shimano Zodias or G.Loomis E6X rods at the 200 dollar price point?

Hmmm, high end Shimano or low end G.Loomis. I vote Zodias.

Not that I wouldn't mind trying both, but the Avid still takes the cake for me at ~$200

All I have done is handle both and based on that I thought the Zodiacs were nicer.

After handling the Zodias at the Classic, it gets my vote. But waiting on the new 13 Fishing line of rods that should come in a slightly under this price. Wonder how the Zodias is versus the Tatuala?

Zodias hands down. Curious if Shimano will bringing the lighter powered casting sticks in this lineup later on.

Agreed. The Muse series is rather intriguing.JWR075 wrote:After handling the Zodias at the Classic, it gets my vote. But waiting on the new 13 Fishing line of rods that should come in a slightly under this price. Wonder how the Zodias is versus the Tatuala?

E 6 x....without a doubt. Im a tried and true shimano guy ...so since the G loomis e 6x have the warranty than its a no brainer.
Really like the new crucials though...great rod so far. When Shimano does the right thing I try to vote with my purchase.

Re: Zodias or E6X for 200 dollars?
After handling both side by side I was much more impressed with the E6X rods, guess that's why I purchased 2 a few days later and am planning on picking up at least 2 more.
