Bird Photography

Experimented with some bird photography recently to keep the skills sharp... sharing some results 8-)

The typical, frozen action shot of a hummingbird. This is a female Anna's Hummingbird.

This is a common House Finch here in California captured through the leafless branches of a maple tree:

This cute little guy is a Pygmy Nuthatch:

Mixing in a little creamy wing action with the humminbirds for images that look like paintings.. this is the male of Anna's Humminbird:

That shutter speed though...capturing a hummingbird bird mid flap
